Team members are continuously trained and coached. Apart from thematic further education, much care is given to training on the job where team members are encouraged to continually grow and to learn from each other.

Each year, students from different courses are offered a work placement at Huis Perrekes. As such, they can gain valuable work experience in elderly care, specifically working with people with dementia, in the context of a small-scale project based on the principle of normalisation. We make sure to offer each student optimal learning opportunities. However, considering the small-scale nature of the project, the number of work placements at Huis Perrekes are rather limited.

Apart from frequently presenting at conferences or seminars, Huis Perrekes is also regularly contacted for educational visits by groups with a variety of different backgrounds.
